How the Process Works

An initial consultation at your home — a fixed-price quote — the in-house design phase with mood boards and every material selected and approved — permits pulled by us through the Town of Northlake — then construction, typically 6–8 weeks for a full custom kitchen, with a final walkthrough before we call it done.

Whether opening a wall is straightforward depends entirely on what the wall is doing. A partition carrying nothing but drywall comes out in a morning. A load-bearing wall needs a properly sized beam, posts carried down to something that can take the load, and in most cases an engineer’s stamp before the permit is issued. What usually complicates the job is not the structure but everything living inside the wall — supply and drain lines, gas, and circuits that have to be rerouted before anything closes back up. None of it shows in the finished room and all of it is real cost, which is why we open the wall and look before quoting a number rather than after.
